First Task!

Hello my models,

Congrats to all who made it into the Top 18!
For the first ever task of Cycle 2, this week, there will be two parts to do, so we can see who has really got potential and deserves to fight another round for the title.

1) Winter Statement Outfit
We want to see your sense for fashion! Create a unique Winter Outfit, based on the latest trends for the freezy season. Stay yourself and put your own style into this outfit, make it your statement! Don't forget to use a matching makeup and hairstyle!
Important: Find a matching background that underlines your outfit!

2) Winter mythical Creatures
Time to spread some magic! Create an Editorial Shoot (Graphic/Scenery), where you portray one of these infamous winter mythical creatures:
The Winter Fairy, the Frost Witch or the Snow Queen.
Don't forget to create a matching atmosphere, by using a nice background, etc.

    I just make the look on Stardoll and then I edited the image to add a nice background. The outfit that I created somewow follows the trend of the ''Punk Style'' but I made it in my own way. It is more 'girly' or something like that, you know? Something that can define my style... I like it cause is cute and that's the way I am ^^

      This is my favorite part of the task because of the Snow Queen -because is one of the characters in one of my favorites books lol- I've also change the mouth of my Doll just to create like a image of ''power'' (or something like that idk) in the 'Snow Queen'.

    At first all i can say is that i'm so, so, so, sooooooooooooooooo sorry. Really, really sorry. These are my worst entries ever. I promised my best and send you now my worst. You can't understand how sorry i am, but i really gave my "best". Well, don't wanna talk bad about them, here are my entries:

      You're entries are really good... It's a bit awkward to apologize for bad things, before the judges told you, that they didn't like something about your entries and it's also a bit unprofessional... Because you did really amazing entries and everyone here thinks you gave the best you could for this entries, so this apology let it look like, you didn't give your best. Be more confident about your work;)

      Absolutly love your "Frost-witch" ... but I think it's not very professional to apology for something before the judges are publishing the results, because so they will look at the hairstyle more than they would have, if you didn't apology for it (just a little tip for the future;)

      I have to disagree, Nora. I can just speak for myself, but when I judge entries, I look at the entries first, form my opinion and write it down. At the end, I read the comments to check if a contestant has given additional information that further explains the image and why they chose their reference.

      I try not to do that, I generally compliment others instead, because honestly your own work tends to look worse to yourself than others and sometimes you just need to step back and say 'I've done the best I can and it's fricking awesome'

      The point of being a contestant is to hand in the best you can and if you have done the best you can in this moment then there is no need to excuse yourself, cause that's all you can do and you should be proud of yourself. And if it isn't the best you can and you know that then I am asking myself why are you even handing this in. Full stop, not going to say anything more.

      Okey guys, just to end this :
      It's pretty obvious that eventually the judges will decide who did great work and who gave their best. The point of all this is at last the fun. So why do we need to discuss something that is not our Choice? self critisism isn't illegal, as long as you know that you can do better. So and now please stop to comment this over again.
